Ask HN: Are you keeping your professional skills up to date?

  I'm afraid that I don't understand the point of this question, or what it is you really want to know. Of course the answer is "yes" for anybody who isn't a. near retirement, b. terminally ill, or c. planning a career change soon. It's almost tautalogical. Could you maybe expand on what it is you are asking / why you ask / some other kind of context?

    You're right. I tried to elaborate a bit in the text field and wasn't able to articulate my thoughts very well. I will think on it a bit more and try again another time. Thanks for your comment. :)
