AMD axes Xilinx CPLD's less than two years after acquisition
- jauntywundrkind 3y agoIt's kind of sad seeing the FPGA market evaporate upwards. Lattice has been building some new middle-tier lines that are exciting, and Gowen and Efinix are very recent interesting upstarts, but man... It's been getting so baren. Parts got more and more expensive, only higher end parts get created. I feel similarly about PCIe switches, which for a while were a competitive market. But there was so much market consolidation & so many products disappeared.
