From what I understand, there's no standard implementation of the standard. So each implementation is unique in some ways. Therefore a "unified" experience is impossible.
- lxgr 3y agoThe same is true for almost all (real) standards: There's no reference implementation for 802.11, Ethernet, 5G etc. either, yet nobody would claim that a "unified Ethernet experience" is impossible.
