Show HN: A tiny, fast QR scanner which checks for malicious links
Safe Scanner is a simple, slim (350kb) web app which shows URL redirects, checks https and validates against Google Safe Browsing for scanned links. It also keeps a history which you can share.
There are other apps out there but they are bloated and slow. Hope this helps someone.

- cerivitos 3y agoMy Android phone camera can scan QR codes but it's horribly slow to start up and doe only shows a truncated URL, so you don't know where the link takes you. There are apps which check the URL but they are also bloated and slow. I only need a scanner which checks the URL and saves my history so I made this for myself.
