Fact: Current gen AI are alien intelligence built by brute force - nobody explicitly programmed them (loosely speaking) so the real problem of runaway AI is definitely something to consider, especially since everything is accessible via API nowadays.
- mikewarot 3y agoThat alien intelligence is communicating with us through a lossy interface. It's quite possible it's much smarter than us, but hamstrung, for now.
