There's definitely an observed political dimension to alternative medicine camps; in other words there is a big "left vs right" phenomena that's worth observing. But what we might really be seeing is young vs old in the willingness to consider alternative medicine. After all, why should young healthy people spend so much time thinking about rejecting mainstream medicine?
