- cyanydeez 3y agothat excuse is as good as any. keep the inflated greed prices and cut the workers to claim it's a recession. In reality: they no longer have cheap money to keep pushing out random tech problems and need to justify the CEO salaries some how.
- tikimcfee 3y agoBingo. Every C-suite egotistical narcissist is seeing that the one thing they do - talk- is even more worthless than it was to begin with. The number of conversations I’ve had in the last year that reek of “terrified upper management” is both cathartic and depressing.
- qgin 3y agoI already know actual people who had their jobs cut due to a company downsizing their department to almost nothing, having the remaining employees using AI to do the work that used to require a much larger team.
