DDG uses bing search behind the scenes. In terms of the quality of the results, those two should be the same. Bing has more "related" links sprinkled in with its results, but the main results are the same between the two.
- itslennysfault 3y agoIt is accurate to say DDG uses bing behind the scenes, but that is not its only source. They have their own crawler (DuckDuckBot[1]), and pull results from many sources[2]. 1. https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/results/duckduckbot/ https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/results/duckduc... 2. https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/results/sources/ https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/results/sources...
