- eaurouge 14y agoThe lead up to the war was very much "you're either with us or against us". It took a lot of courage to speak against the war. Even the media had to get in line - I think all news networks hired military consultants at the time. Over time some that voted for invasion adjusted their stance. This may be why you felt there were a lot of opponents.
