agreed- I leave as soon as I have to sign-up for something, I understand sign-ing up is important to collet data and follow up, but if you have to decide which is better as I remember signing-up wasn't so forced on the early days. It was if you want to try or save your information then sign up.
this reminds me of kind of how adding a 'buy now' vs 'add to cart' button. If you add to cart, you have a chance of losing out on a customer vs someone buying instantly and not giving it a second thought.
