Cloudflare defends firing of staffer for reasons HR could not explain

Before you advocate a law against chaotic firing, consider that when Cloudflare is contacted about her employment, they must now keep their story straight and give precisely the same explanation they gave her. Even if the layoff was a mistake, the employer is best protected by scrubbing the details.
