Meta verification proved useless–and my family is still locked out of Instagram
- isaacfrond 3y agoI think this in inevitable. If you run a service at scale, even 0.1% of problem becomes a deluge. I recently read that Google receives 1.6 billion removal requests per year. Clearly that is going to be handled automatically, with no possibility of appeal. Having paid support is not going to help at all, unless people without problems also sign up for it. I'm not sure if there is a reasonable alternative to Instagram and the like though.
