The Full Stack of Society: Can You Make a Whole Society Wealthier?
- WarOnPrivacy 3y agoI glanced thru it didn't seem to address the historical issues of rising tide<=>boats lifted. It's that gains for the poor don't become lives of wealth & leisure. Gains for the poor get leveraged and annexed by the wealthy/powerful. More time? More responsibilities and more complexity. Higher wages? More fees. More expectations. More bills and more complexity. Tasked saved? Complexity added to routine living. Burden eased? More burdens & still more complexity. Advantages not dreamed of by ancestors? They're all means for you to satisfy the will of the wealthy and powerful. More children reaching adulthood? Childhood got shrunk from sq miles to sq feet - limited by roads, laws, lie-based fears, complex demands and being permanently welded to increasingly exhausted adults.
