A paupers' grave is not automatically nefarious. The story is that the police made no effort to find families.
- Jimmc414 3y agoMaybe it's just me but having 215 unmarked graves seems a little sketchy.
- ahazred8ta 3y agoThey're marked by posts with numbers on them. Numbered grave markers are standard in the US for pauper's burials. NYC has https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hart_Island https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hart_Island with over 1 million numbered graves.
