So the beavers were getting too stressed out when transported on horseback. To solve this, they decided to drop them out of airplanes with parachutes. I don't like horseback riding either, but I would flip my beaver-lid if I was dropped out of an airplane. There must be more background to this story.

It kinda makes sense that a day(s) long truck + horseback trip is more stressful than an plane ride of a few hours tops.
