- wscourge 3y agoI have mixed feelings towards too much standardization, especially in open-source. The case: I want to simply contribute something useful (I'm the user, so it IS as useful as it gets). I check out the CONTRIBUTING.md guideline: 1.5k words - nope, I'm not reading it. I'm not saying there should be none standardization, but avoid it turning into gatekeeping - especially in simple cases.
