They're usually using biomass as a hook to get people's attention, but then have to sort of admit that's bullshit which kind of makes a mockery of the whole thing. > A portion of BC’s razed forests are being used to make wood pellets Could we be more precise than "a portion"? > Wood pellets are enmeshed in BC’s forestry industry, and proponents claim that pellets help utilize waste generated from producing other products, such as lumber. The catch, according to Connolly, is that “BC’s forestry system is fundamentally unsustainable.” Oh, so the whole thing is unsustainable?
