The same as your friend, if you don't have friends then use Ubuntu.
- odiroot 3y ago"BTW I use Arch" Not a bad choice in all seriousness. But maybe in Manjaro/Endeavour versions.
- TheCapeGreek 3y agoI had a far better experience on Manjaro than Ubuntu and variants. AUR seems to have more of what I tend to use and rolling release means I can keep my projects up to date without having to add ppas every 5 minutes. If you're not vehemently against snap, it's also available.
- bencelaszlo 3y ago> But maybe in Manjaro/Endeavour versions But why? Nowadays `archinstall` is included in the official live ISO.
- w4rh4wk5 3y agoMy suggestion would be to first give Ubuntu-based distributions a try, like Linux Mint, Pop!_OS, or KDE neon. If there's still too much Ubuntu weirdness for your liking, try Debian. And if that doesn't satisfy your desktop needs, give Fedora a try. All of these provide good out-of-the-box experience.
- justinclift 3y agoProbably Debian. :)
- belltaco 3y agoWSL
- I_Am_Nous 3y agoMy preference is Fedora XFCE Spin. I'm easy to please, though.
