It's probably just retrying constantly because it is being blocked by the pihole. It's probably just trying to send a few kb.

- ectospheno 3y agoI have found many IoT devices don’t play nice when given nxdomain. Often they will respect high TTLs though. Giving them an address with a high TTL that returns an error often silences them nicely.
