- hulitu 3y agoNo it is not _that_ simple. I paid for my Android phone and i paid my Windows licence.

- happytiger 3y agoNo, you’re still the product if you pay. In fact you are better product. You’re just verified product and worth more to advertisers and data brokers because you’re card verified and likely legit. With love, this is antiquated thinking and no longer true.
- glimshe 3y agoI think many would agree to pay if they got the right value from it: 1) It's too expensive after they got rid of Youtube Premium Lite 2) Google still gets to track your watch history heavily, allowing advertisers to harass you through other Google properties 3) You still get sponsor segments in videos
