We know they lied. Do we know specifically if they have been shown to have committed perjury?
- scott_w 3y agoI don’t think they perjured themselves which isn’t the same as saying they didn’t lie. It’s easy to not perjure yourself if you’re not asked the right questions. The lie came from the fact they weren’t looking into their own evidence and realising something was up when they were prosecuting hundreds of sub-postmasters.
- afandian 3y agoThere’s been so much misconduct in public office I just wish there were some open and shut cases.
