Yup, you can buy the 8 pin CH32V003 for $0.10 in quantity 50. That's a $5 investment. 2 KB RAM, 16 KB flash (flash instead of One-TIme-Programmable is unheard of at that price point, except a similar Puya Cortex-M0 chip), 48 MHz.
