Obviously they're preparing for a fight with the US, but that's not news and I don't see how this does anything but give them something roughly Ford-shaped shoot at. It's a prop - there are no planes, no defenses, no escort, no realistic signals/radar/sonar signatures, etc. So what? They have a big target.
