Steam's refund policy makes this a non-issue. It takes way less than 2 hours to figure out you have a bad game.
- kombookcha 3y agoIt certainly helps a lot, but I wouldn't call it a non-issue. It deteriorates the user experience. From the scammer's point of view, with a low barrier to entry, they don't need very many people to fall for it before some number of them will fail to get a refund for whatever reason. Even if literally nobody loses money, it's adding noise to signal.
