The Engineering example is absolutely hilarious. Sure, I’m going to copy paste my code into an AI assistant to ask it about a bug that a linter would spot in realtime as I wrote the code.
- callalex 3y agoI agree with you completely, but the target audience of people who will do such a thing have no clue what a linter, lexer, or parser are. Maybe even a compiler. And that audience is much larger than us folks at the ripe old age of 25+ even realize.
