- serf 3y agoionization smoke detectors and radium clock dials come to mind, neither of which are banned in the U.S., although you won't find any new radium dials.

- pi-e-sigma 3y agoThey are not banned because it's very old tech from the times where the regulation was much more lax.
- dabluecaboose 3y agoCloser analogy would be tritium vials/dials, which are also beta emitters, and are also not banned in the US.
