Somehow this is a rather boring list. Twitter killers as a breakthrough technology cannot be serious. I would have there: 1) room temperature superconductors (maybe? finally?) 2) some yet unknown technology in climate tech (all those European startups aren’t there just to spend VC money). 3) micro/nanoplastic-related technology (now that we know it’s a problem, probably of a billion or trillion dollar scale, something will come up soon). 4) major advances in military drones and conventional warfare coming from Russia-Ukraine war 5) information warfare based on AI will be used in election campaign for the first time not just to create content, but to proactively control media landscape
