I don't know anything about power dishwashers, but I despise the long cycle times of modern clothes washers. I recently stayed in an AirBnB with a new washer & dryer, and the washer had a "speed mode" that provided a 30m cycle. I've never seen that on a modern washer and I was blown away that I could clean my clothes in 30 minutes, rather than the 60-90 minutes that my home washer requires on its shortest cycles.
