Where does it say that it has wifi? Smart is just a marketing term here.

  It's definitely not just a marketing term.. If you follow the specs on that model - you'll see a, "Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi" If you go to the product page on Samsung.com (https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appliances/washers/front-load/4-5-cu-ft-front-load-washer-with-vibration-reduction-technology-plus-in-white-wf45t6000aw-a5/ https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appliances/washers/front-loa...)     There is no "Wireless Connectivity: Wi-Fi" in specs at least in samsung's site. It does display the troubleshooting which seems something like QR for machine status, which I really doubt it will troubleshoot anything and it is just there for false assurance.
