Show HN: Don't Press the Red Button
- lazyeye 3y agoI like it. Please also put the percent number next to the country metrics for easy comparison. Curious to see if there is a cultural component to this.
- blitz_skull 3y agoInstructions not clear; I pressed the red button.
- HardwareLust 3y agoIt would be nice if I could scroll the countries list.
- fulco__ 3y agoStrange, on which page can't you scroll the list?
- HardwareLust 3y agoNm, it was something local. Works fine now, my bad.
- KingGeedorah 3y agoFun idea but it would be nice to sort countries by total number of button presses.
- anonzzzies 3y agoF* you, I won’t do what you tell me. Following instructions is where everything that is boring and mundane lies. Kudos for the idea though.
- dhumph 3y agoHa! Need some sort of loading thing, i almost left before it had rendered
- quickthrower2 3y agoBrowser fingerprinting?
- daltonlp 3y agoNope. Appears to be IP matching.
- quickthrower2 3y agoI went for blue, thinking it was a game (the blue button might move away). Damn.
- TowerTall 3y agoReminds me of one of the famous pages from the early days of www (1994) The really big button that doesn't do anything. https://www.krystalrose.com/rosewood/library/BigButton.htm https://www.krystalrose.com/rosewood/library/BigButton.htm
- quickthrower2 3y agoOoh, a joy looking at the source. * htm extension * all tags in all caps * for some reason text is justified! * <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> * Closing tags are for wimps!
