No, I’m not. Why would I want to use old things that work OK when I can use new things that work really well?

- beedeebeedee 3y agoTo opt out of the relentless churn and over-production that is driving climate change and inequity?
- paulcole 3y agoBruh the climate ship has sailed. Using a 5 year old phone isn’t going to make a lick of difference. Here’s the things I do in my life: I’ve never driven a car, don’t fly, live in a small apartment, don’t eat meat, and don’t have kids. Those things don’t make a lick of difference either, to be fair. And inequity has only been around since the dawn of human history, so good luck there.
- __d 3y agoIf _one_ person forgoes buying a new phone, or doesn't fly, or doesn't use a car, it won't make an appreciable difference. If 100 million people do it, it will. So ... I applaud both of you.
