The statement "You make your own luck" is both true and false.
From a Psychological and Behavioral Perspective, the concept of a self-fulfilling prophecy supports the idea.
From a Probabilistic Perspective, it's false as there are external factors you just can't influence.
- kyawzazaw 3y agoIf author’s parents didn’t immigrate to Canada, it would have been an uphill battle. So not sure “you make your own luck” is true in this case.
