I've learned a new language in the last 2 years. You can't do it with just Duolingo. But I truly believe that there is no method except for full immersion which can make you learn a language alone. It's always: in person classes, reading, watching medias, changing your phone's language, going out to restaurants, language learning apps, making new friends. Duolingo is effective, just not alone.
