I rented a hyundai plug in hybrid last year while I was in Denver for 10 days and never plugged it in. I drove between denver and boulder everyday and then at the tail end drove up to Aspen, I only stopped for gas on the way back to denver from aspen and expected I'd have to put in 20 gallons or more of gas, I couldn't believe it when I filled it up with 9 gallons of gas, I don't know if that was a fluke but I was absolutely shocked.
