Even if it does output training articles verbatim it's still transformative, mainly because that's not its primary application.
- minimaxir 3y agoWhat is the primary application of a LLM other than outputting text?
- duringmath 3y agoWell it depends on intent, in chatgpts case it's responding to users prompts. And it's not really the best way to read those articles that's just a byproduct of the training process.
