This page was the first time I had heard of the Contact Picker API. I tried to select the text to google it and this page has somehow disabled select/copy/paste of text. This is an ironic way to show that the web is just as capable/incapable as native apps.
- dannymoerkerke 3y agoI’m perfectly able to select the text.
- mcculley 3y agoI tried on Safari and Chrome. Maybe I need to install a special browser to use that web page. I wonder if they make an app.
- dannymoerkerke 3y agoJust tap and hold, works fine for me on iOS and Android
- mcculley 3y agoI see that it works fine for me also on mobile. Somehow they have managed to neuter the desktop experience. A perfect demonstration of PWA today.
- dannymoerkerke 3y agoDesktop works as well
- JimDabell 3y agoThe website applies -webkit-user-select: none to everything in the feature grid. The website author has intentionally disabled this functionality.
