Their big drawback is their dealership experience is garbage because most dealers are still setup for dealing with only low end customers. It feels weird to buy a 50-60k car from a dingy showroom
- MichaelMug 3y agoMy anecdotal experience with Hyundai is their ICE vehicles have been completely unreliable. So I’m personally extremely hesitant to purchase an electric car from them. I saw a video of the EV9 and all its motorized amenities. It’s cool in the showroom but it’s no fun to have stuff break after a few years. But the design is quite nice and interiors feel premium. Hyundai and Kia have come a long way since the 90s.

- SkyPuncher 3y agoOur Hyundai Palisade has been the most reliable vehicle we have ever owned. We’ve literally had zero issues with it in nearly 4 years of ownership. By contrast, ever other vehicle we’ve owned as had some sort of annoying issue. Mostly still mechanically reliable, just annoying.
- derwiki 3y agoWhat are the other vehicles you’ve owned? FWIW I bought a used RAV4 4 years ago and have also had zero issues
- SkyPuncher 3y agoA bunch. Several new, several used, several very old. Most of the used cars were/are still in the family, so I've seen their entire history.
