Really interested to know if this is material failure, structural failure or design failure? Thoughts? It looks to me to be structural adhesion failure. That position has been claimed to be exit row door blowout/not an exit row - but we have seen pics, I hope they identify the source of the rivets. Pretty sure it was a material weakness failure. EDIT - It actually could have been a decompression event due to a failure in the window in that module causing a vacuum to slurp that piece out - where the surrounding structure couldnt hold the pull. Thank goodness a person wasnt on the inside of that suction event.
