- to11mtm 3y agoManufacturing is a start. If the plant/product proves successful, eventually suppliers will start moving closer as well. (Source: Family member works at a supplier for most major car makers doing exactly this. In the case of long relationships with supplier and manufacturer, the building of plants can be very closely aligned on start/ready dates.)
