I understand why, but people are jumping the gun to cynicism here. Obviously, a "factory" could mean anything, and maybe we need more details to know, but at first real inspection, it seems like they're making them in Oklahoma.
- mikeyouse 3y agoFor better or worse, several of the recent tax laws have heavily incentivized domestic manufacturing, especially in high-tech spaces like batteries, EVs, and semiconductors. There will indeed be a lot of actual manufacturing in the states in the next few years. Just look at the construction investment charts, there's legitimate industrial policy for the first time in generations.
