The Quest 3 cannot do that, its depth sensor is far too low resolution to scan a face with a good fidelity level.
Unfortunately, it also means the quest 3 probably will probably never be very good at dynamic occlusion in mixed reality (ie: hiding partially virtual objects that are behind real life objects).

- lelag 3y agoI'm sure Meta will be very happy helping Apple selling more iPhones.
- dagmx 3y agoMeta actually do promote the use of an iPhone in their codec avatar videos to capture a face. Granted, none of that is available to consumers yet. Epic as well, recommend an iPhone for their meta human capture. Feuds don’t often stop pragmatism.
