What a nightmare it would be with a display showing Roman numerals. Are you driving XLIII or XLVII on a VL road?
- johannes1234321 3y agoConsidering the fascinating bility of the brain toearn and adapt I wonder how hard it would really bee to read those numbers if we were surrounded by them all the time. (Doing maths in Roman numerals is more complicated than Arabic decimals,though)
- pjc50 3y agoAnalogue clocks used to be Roman numerals, and you can still see this on older public clocks such as Big Ben.
