- saalweachter 3y agoAs a matter of principle, you should always redact names, at least down to initials; as a matter of practice, I am not sure the name is any more identifying than eg "Mike Johnson". If you had Mike Johnson and the last four digits of a credit card, you might be able to identifying him from a database of leaked PII, although there may be enough of them to get a collision on that. On the third hand, including the name doesn't really add anything to the story/image.
