I use them with my iPad all the time to watch video.
I'm guessing you might be using the lightning-to-usb-c adapter.
- drewg123 3y agoYes, I use the Apple MD826 / MD826ZMA Lightning to HDMI Adaptor & their XREAL Air Adapter. Is that what's not hdcp compliant?

- SkyPuncher 3y agoSeems like it. I plug my headset directly into the USB-C port without issue.
