Honestly, for me it's a selling point. Generally speaking Rust programs are fast, memory-efficient and of high quality. I'm certainly not saying this is always the case, or that it's impossible in other languages, but I am definitely going to take a closer look if something new and interesting prominently says it was built with Rust.
