More hassle is the water situation, but like I said you can work around these things if you have time and patience — and living off grid like this will allow for that. EDIT: Now that I think about it, I suspect you're coming at this thinking of the land being in some baron backwater. We don't have the luxury of being able to live in the middle of nowhere here. Even "nowhere" is a few kilometres away from "somewhere".
