This post really doesn’t say a lot. One sentence describes it: if people are incentivized to move towards each other they will, and if they’re not as much then they won’t. This is a common practice I see among educators, make something overcomplicated so the audience feels they accomplished something at the end or learned something meaningful, even though it was extremely simple in the first place. You can always make more of something than there is.
