If you work at a company that grants and manages options through Carta, is there a way as an employee to opt out and manage options some other way? Is there any way to go back to paper stock certificates and options exercise agreements? I'm utterly ignorant about this, I think every tech company I've worked at that offered options has used it, and I've often wondered how things worked before it existed.
