Ryanair’s aircraft is a different variant, made only for them, the Max 200 which is the same size as a Max 8 but has the extra exits for up to 200 pax.

- salawat 3y agoThat's called a different configuration. It is still a MAX8. A rose, by any other name...
- throwaheyy 3y agoSure but if you read what I’m replying to, they are not “lying” to call it a 737-8-200. That is what it is.
- mihaaly 3y ago...so basically the same just named to sound remarkably different. One more exit and it is not at all the problematic MAX anymore! ;) Surprised they still call it 737 then. :)
- philwelch 3y agoThis reminds me of the old mattress store scam, where each mattress store has its own slightly different SKU of basically the same mattress purely to make it harder for the customer to compare prices between stores.
