- haltist 3y agoAn LLM is an interface/veneer over crowdsourced knowledge found on the web and whatever human labor is used for "RLHF". As such, LLMs do not change any of the economic dynamics inherent in capitalism and its markets. The goal is to generate profit by exploiting the masses and their labor with the help of computers. Sam Altman and friends have developed new techniques for more optimally exploiting human labor and knowledge but it is still well within the capitalist paradigm. Feed that into an LLM, see what happens.
